Daily Inspirational Quote November 12 2014
“Forgive your enemies, but never forget their names.” – John F. Kennedy
I have gotten myself into some ridiculous situations in my quest to be like Jesus, Buddha or other great spiritual teachers. For example, I am ever determined to forgive those who have wronged me, whether they’re sorry or not. I’ve been known to turn the other cheek when attacked, only to end up with hand prints on both sides of my face. While I believe that we determine our own experiences in life, and that having a loving heart and positive thoughts is tremendous protection against lower energy, there does come a point when we must draw some lines. If you lovingly tried to pet a dog for the fifth time, and for the fifth time you were bitten, I wouldn’t say the law of attraction had failed — I’d say it was high time you stopped “loving your enemy” that way.
