About a week ago, I wrote about a friend who was diagnosed as having cancer throughout his body. He and his wife are both spiritualist ministers, and therefore part of a large network of other ministers around the country. We were praying with all our hearts for a miracle. Finally, the doctors told his wife that he had at most six months to live, and that they didn’t want to do any kind of chemotherapy, because they were afraid it would just kill him that much faster. That night in the middle of the night, they both experienced such a strong sense of divine love that they ended up sobbing together. The next morning more tests were run, and suddenly — inexplicably — my friend was found to be in remission. He has now left the hospital, cancer-free. Miracles do happen every day. Look for them and dare to believe!
