The Problem with the Paradigm of Urgency
"Wouldn't you like to be part of a different kind of revolution?" In
this excerpt from The More Beautiful World our Hearts Know is Possible,"
Charles Eisenstein presents an alternate view of being "revolutionary."
Rather than continuing along the same path of urgency and effort and
struggling with a problem, which come from a place of scarcity and
domination, he suggests we slow down, do nothing, approach "life in a
spirit of ease and play" so we can first, truly identity the problem,
and second, open ourselves to creative energies that will bring about
"something truly new for civilization."
