I guess we’ve all been in a situation where we find out who our true friends are. You know the scenario. We’re in financial trouble, our relationship isn’t working, our work situation isn’t looking very good so, what do we do? We call our friends and ask for their help. Sometimes it’s just for reassurance that things will get better and “hey, I’m always here for you.” Other times we ask for financial aid just for a short while until things get better when we’ll repay our debt. It’s at times like these that people we believed to be friends will fade into the background maybe because they don’t want to be put on the spot or they’re dealing with their own problems or perhaps just because they don’t think enough about you to really care. This is when your true friend or friends can be counted. The ones who have their own problems too but who care about you enough to put their problems on hold to help you out and make sure you know you can count on them. True friends indeed, treasure them.
